HomeMy WebLinkAbout05925ORDINANCE NO. 5925 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM R -5 TO B -3 COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS 210 -224 N. CHESTER STREET SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS SUBSEQUENTLY BEING MET BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that: SECTION 1. The zoning restrictions covering the following described pro- perty be changed from R -5, Multiple - Residential and Office District, to B -3, Highway and Arterial Business District, and, upon passage of this ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting B -3, Highway and Arte- rial Business District, shall apply to said property: Lots 4 - 8, less railroad R.O.W. plus north 30 feet of Lots 9 - 11, Block 4, East Pueblo Subdivision, and more commonly known as: 210 -224 N. Chester Street. SECTION 2. Thiszoning ordinance, upon recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission, is approved with the following conditions: the parking lot shall be paved for ten offstreet parking spaces; a six - foot sidewalk be installed along Chester Street; provide landscaping in accordance with the Landscape Ordinance; and install a six -foot fence with the west and south sides being opaque. The City Planning and Zoning Commission is hereby authorized and directed to initiate proceedings to rezone the above - described property to an R -5, Multiple- Residential and Office District, if the property owners or his heirs, successors or assigns fail to meet these conditions within six (6) months of passage of this ordinance. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval. INTRODUCED December 12 F 1994 By JOHN CALIFANO Councilperson APPROV.
