HomeMy WebLinkAbout05876ORDINANCE NO. 5876 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM R -2 TO B -3 COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS NORTH SIDE OF THE 1500 BLOCK OF E. 19TH STREET SUBJECT TO CONDI- TIONS SUBSEQUENTLY BEING MET BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that: SECTION 1. The zoning restrictions covering the following described pro- perty be changed from R -2, Single - Family Residential District, to B -3, Highway and Arterial Business District, and, upon passage of this ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting B -3, Highway and Arterial Business District, shall apply to said property: Lots 23 - 30, Block 91, East Pueblo Height Subdivision, 2nd Filing, and more commonly known as: North side of the 1500 block of E. 19th Street. SECTION 2. This zoning ordinance, upon recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission, is approved with the following conditions: that landscaping be installed in accordance with the City's Landscape Ordinance; and that the property be enclosed with an opaque fence. The City Planning and Zoning Commission is hereby authorized and directed to initiate proceedings to rezone the above - described property to an R -2, Single - Family Residential District, if the property owner or his heirs, successors or assigns fail to meet these conditions within six (6) months of passage of this ordinance. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval.
