AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A PARKING VARIANCE FOR
THE PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 415 N. GRAND
AVENUE
WHEREAS, the owner of property, which is located within the
jurisdictional boundaries of the former Pueblo Downtown General
Improvement District, applied for an offstreet parking variance;
and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has reviewed and
recommended approval of such variance from the required number
of offstreet parking spaces for this property and the owner's use
thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has taken into account the factors
listed in Section 17 -4 -44(2) of the 1971 Code of Ordinances.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1.
An offstreet parking variance to allow 118 fewer parking
spaces for the property commonly known as 415 N. Grand Avenue,
and legally described as South 1/2 of Lots 1 and 2, Block 50,
Pueblo Subdivision, is hereby granted.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final
passage and approval.
