HomeMy WebLinkAbout05830ORDINANCE NO. 5830 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM R -2 TO S -4 COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1239 BELMONT AVENUE SUB- JECT TO CONDITIONS SUBSEQUENTLY BEING MET BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that: SECTION 1. The zoning restrictions covering the following described pro- perty be changed from R -2, Single- Family Residential District, to S -4, Parking District, and, upon passage of this ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting S -4, Parking District, shall apply to said property: Lots 17, 18 and 19, Block 2, Eiffel Place Subdivision, and more commonly known as: 1239 Belmont Avenue. SECTION 2. This zoning ordinance, upon recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission, is approved with the following conditions: the property owner shall install public sidewalk on Belmont Avenue; install landscaping in accordance with the Landscape Ordinance; pave the parking area with asphalt; and install an opaque fence on the North property line. The City Planning and Zoning Commission is hereby authorized and directed to initate proceedings to rezone the above - descibed property to an R -2, Single- Family Residential District, if the pro- perty owners or his heirs, successors or assigns fail to meet these conditions within six (6) months of passage of this ordinance. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval.
