HomeMy WebLinkAbout06945ORDINANCE NO. 6945 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES BUDGET TO ELIMINATE AN ADMINISTRATIVE TECHNICIAN POSITION AND CREATE A SENIOR CLERK - TYPIST POSITION AND PROVIDE FUNDS TO COVER TEMPORARY STAFF ABSENCES AND URGENT PROJECTS WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources currently has a vacant Administrative Technician position, and WHEREAS, the Director of Human Resources has determined that the current needs of the Department will best be met through the elimination of the Administrative Technician position and the addition of one Senior Clerk- Typist position and necessary funds to cover temporary staff absences and urgent projects, and WHEREAS, the change will result in an annual savings to the City of $1,600, now therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: The Department of Human Resources budget be amended to eliminate an Administrative Technician position and add a Senior Clerk- Typist position and necessary funds ($2,000) to cover temporary staff absences and urgent projects.
