HomeMy WebLinkAbout05764Reception 982742 8/17/1992 ORDINANCE NO 5764 AN ORDINANCE VACATING ALL OF RICHMOND AVENUE BETWEEN CENTRAL MAIN STREET AND UNION AVENUE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that: QVPTTnM 1 All of Richmond Avenue, being 40 feet in width, adjacent to Blocks 59 and 62, as platted in Hobson's Subdivision of part of the City of Pueblo, according to the recorded plat thereof, filed for record November 7, 1881, and all of Richmond Avenue, as platted in Pueblo Center, Filing One, according to the re- corded plat thereof, filed for record August 10, 1988; AND That portion of Victoria Avenue (River Street), as platted in that part of the present City of Pueblo which was surveyed and platted by H. M. Fosdick, Civil Engineer, for the Probate Judge of said Pueblo County, in March, 1869, as shown by the recorded plat thereof, lying Southeasterly of the Southeasterly right -of- way line extended of Union Avenue, as platted in Kretschmer's Subdivision of fractional Block 44 of the Original City of Pueblo, according to the recorded plat thereof, filed for record March 1, 1882, and lying Southwesterly of the North- easterly right -of -way line extended of Richmond Avenue, as platted in Hobson's Subdivision of a part of the City of Pueblo, according to the recorded plat thereof, filed for record November 7, 1881, is hereby vacated, reserving, however, to the City of Pueblo and utility owners the right at all times to repair, maintain, operate or replace existing utilities and sewer and water lines and mains, together with the right of ingress and egress to accomplish same. SECTION 2. The reservations set forth in Section 1 hereof shall automatically terminate upon recording in the Pueblo County Clerk and Recorder's Office a veri- fied statement of the Director of Public Works of the City of Pueblo certifying that all utilities and sewer and water lines and mains existing in said vacated alley and street have been removed or abandoned. ma, 2669 P,�n 31 SECTION 3.
