AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE A14NEXATION OF
THE AREA BETWEEN IiTH STREET AND 3/4 BLOCK
NORTH OF 26TH STREET, FROM CITY LIMITS TO
SCOTT AVENUE AND THE SW* OF THE NE* OF SEC.

WHEREAS, heretofore on the 20th day of May, 1965, a petition was filed
with the Council of Pueblo for annexation'to Pueblo of certain territory herein-
.}
after described; and all maps and plats thereof were filed as required by law; and
said petition was signed by the owners of over one -half of all of said territory;
and
WHEREAS, thereafter the Council of Pueblo published notice of said pro-
posed annexation in the Pueblo Chieftain, a daily newspaper, for three successive
weeks, to -wit: The first publication being on the 17th day of June, 1965; and
more than thirty days have elapsed since the first publication of said notice,
and no counter - petition, as required by law, or at all, has been filed with the
Council of Pueblo; and all conditions precedent to such shnexation to the City of
Pueblo have been performed and compiled with according to law; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1.
The following described territory be, and the same is hereby annexed
to Pueblo; and the maps and plats of said territory be, and the same are hereby
approved and confirmed and the execution and filing thereof as provided by law
is hereby ordered and directed, to -wit:
A part of the Ej of Sections 22 and 27, and a part of the Wq
of Sections 23 and 26, Twp. 20 South, Range 65 West of the
6th P. M., more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the existing City Limits Line, said
point also being the northwest corner of Block 5, Irving Park;
thence southerly, easterly and westerly, along the present City
Limits Line to a point on the north line of West 11th Street;
thence continuing west along the said north line of West Iith
Street to the north -south centerline of Section 27, Twp. 20
South, Range 65 West of the 6th Principal Meridian; thence
north along the said north -south centerline of Section 27 to
the north line of said Section 27, said point also being on
the south line of Section 22, Twp. 2D South, Range 65 West of
the 6th Principal Meridian; thence continuing north along the
north -south centerline of said Sectioij 22 to the northwest
corner of the SW* of the NE$ of the se:d S:cf :ou 22 thence
east along the north line of the said SVk of t,ic t:r:�, to the
northeast corner of the said SV /4 of the , .E:i; thence south
along the east line of the said 3 of the NE$ to a point on
the east west centerline of the said Section 22; thence east
along the east -west centerline of said Section 22, to the
point of beginning.
SECTION
By final passage of this Ordinance the Council of Pueblo certified its
approval of the above annexation, as required by the statutes of the State of Co! -.
redo, and certifies that all conditions precedent to such final annexation have
been done and performed as required by the laws of the State of Colorado, and tha
ordinances of Pueblo.
