former Town of Bessemer (now a part of the con-
solidated 011W of Pueblo), according to the re-
corded plat of said Mapleton Subdivision, and also
vacating a portion of Summit Avenue in s City.

SECTION 1. That all that portion of Brovm Avenue, in Mapleton,
a subdivision of Lots 1 2 3, 4, 5 6, 11 and 12, of Block 28, Uplands
Park, former Town of Bessemer (now a part of the consolidated City of
Pueblo) according to the recorded plat of said Mapleton Subdivision,
lying between the North line of Summit Avenue and the South line of
Small Avenue, be and the same is hereby vacated as such avenue and
street, and is hereby discontinued for all public purposes.
SECTION 2 . That all that portion of Belmont Avenue, in said Mapleton
Subdivision, lying between the North line of Arroya Avenue and the
South line of Small Avenue, be and the same is hereby vacated as st:c',
avenue and street, and is hereby discontinued for all public purposes.
OCTION 3. That the following portion of Summit Avenue, in said City
of Pueblo, be and the same is hereby vacated as such avenue and street
and is hereby discontinued for all public purposes:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot 15, Block 28, Uplands
Park, in the former Town of Bessemer, now a part of the consolidated
City of Pueblo; thence West parallel with the North line of said Sum-
sit Avenue, a distance of about 627 feet to the East line of Acero Av-
- -anw; tusuca morth tc the SouthweH#_4Qrr3er of Block 2, in said Maple-
ton Subdivision; thence East along the North line of said Surrait Ave-
sme a distance of about 627 feet to the West line of said Lot 15,
Block 28, Uplands Park; thence South along : ~aid West line of said Lot
15 to the place of beginning.
Section Q That the following portion of Small Avenue in said City of Pueblo
be and the same is hcrA, T. , c,t:d as sac:! a and street and is hereby discon-
tinued for all public purposes.
Commencing at the northeast corner of lot 16 of block 28, .plands Park, in the
former Town of 3essemcr, now a part of the consolidated City of ?ueblo; thence a
nnorth a distance of fifteen (15) feet; thence west parallel with the south line of
said Small Avenue, a distance of twelve hundred and fifty -four feet (1254), more or
less, to the east line of Acoro Fvenue; thence south along said east line of Accro
Avenue a distance of fifteen (15) feet, to the northwest corner of block 2 in said
Mapleton Sub- division; thence east along the south line of said Small Avonue, a
distance of twelve hundred and fifty -four (1254) feet, more or less, to the place
of beginning.
Section 5. That the oortions of frown Ave, Blemont Ave, Small Ave, and Summit
Ave, vacated in manner as sat forth in sections 1 2.J." and L of this ordinance, are
so vacated for the benefit of the Pueblo State Fair Association and upon the express
condition that when the said Fair Association shall cease to use the grounds in
which the foregoing vacated portions of said streets and avenues are located, for
the purpose named in its articles of incorporation, that than the said vacated
portions of said streets and avenues shall revert to the City of Pueblo and Public
and become a part of said streets and avenues, the same as though this ordinance
had not been passed.

The above and foregoing ordinance was passed by the City Council at a regular
meeting held "onday June 10, 1901, by a unanimous vote of the Aldermen- elect.
