AN 0WINANCE concerning licenses.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TNT CITY OF PUSBLOz
Section 1.
Any poison, company or corporation, who shall sell or attempt to sell at Public
Auction in the City of Pueblo, any goods, wares or merchandise, without first having
obtained a license therefor shall forfeit and pay to the City for each offense not
less than ten, nor more than three hundred dollars.
Section 2.
No license shall be granted to any person, company or corporation, for the sale
of goods, wares or merchandise at Public Auction, until such person shall first have
paid to the City Clerk the sum of one hundred dollars (1100) per day, for each day
severally, that any such goods, wares or merchandise shall be sold, or attempted to
be.sold, at- Public Auction in this City.
Section 3.
All sales made by sheriffs, constables, tax collectors, coroners, marshalls,
executors, guardians, assignees of insolvent debtors or bankrupts, or any othor person
r^_quired by lava to sell real or personal property at Public Auction, shall be exempt
fray the provisions of this ordinance.
