An ordinance concerning appropriations for the fiscal year ending March 31, 1901.
BE IT ORDAINED By the City Council of the City of Pueblo, Colorado,
Section 1. That there be and is hereby appropriated for the fiscal year beginning April 1, 1900,
and ending on the 31S day of March, 1901, for the purpose of defraying the expenses and
liabilities of said City for the use of the several funds the following amounts; to wit,

This Appropriation Ordinance was returned by the Mayor endorsed "not approved, Feb.
2, 1900, Geo. F. West, Mayor."
The Mayor's veto read in full to the Council by the Clerk; whereupon Alderman Price
second Alderman Johnson made motion that the Ordinance pass over the Mayor's veto. Roll

Ayes; Johnson, Donahue, Bright, Birch, White, Price, Case. (7)
Nay: Austin. (1)
There being more than a two - thirds majority of all Alderman elect voting aye, the
Ordinance was declared passed over the Mayor's veto, February 5 1900.
