ORDINANCE NO _
AN ORDINANCE to protect trees, shrubbery, flowers, parks and other public
property.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PUEBLO.
Section 1.
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to injure, break,.damage or
destroy or assist in injuryings breaking, damaging, or destroying any ornamental
or useful tree, shrub, flower, or plant planted, set out or Browning in ant public
place in, upon or along any of the streets, or highways of said City fo Pueblo.
Section 2.
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to hitch or fasten or cause to
be fastend or hitched any horse or other animal to any ornamental or useful tree, or
any fence or railing, upon arj public ground or place or upon any private premises
without the owners consent.
Section 3
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to break, injure., deface,
damage or destroy anh fence or gates surrounding or leading into any park, parks
or public places within the City of Pueblo, or to break injure, deface, damage or
destroy any settees, booths, rustic houses, arbors, or fountains, or any other thing
of use or ornament within any of the public narks or places of said City of Pueblo.
Section 4,
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to injure, deface, damage or
destroy any public porperty of whatsoever kind or character within the City of
Pueblo.
Section 5.
Any person or persons violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance,
shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than five (5) dollars nor more than one
hundred (100) dollars for each and every offense.
