HomeMy WebLinkAbout00515J ORDINANCE NO 51 1 t AN ORDINANCE Prohibiting the operation of street cars over certain streets without conductors. Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Pueblo, Colorado. Section 1. It shall be unlawful for WW driver, gripman, motorneer or other employee of any street railway company, or other person, to operate or run, or cause to be run, any street car over the herein after named streets and parts of streets of the City of Pueblo, unless said street cars shall be in charge of and under the control of a competant conductor, who shall be a person other than the driver, gripman or motorneer; said streets and parts of streets are as follows, Main Street between First and Tenth Streets; Santa Fe Avenue between First and Tenth Streets; First Street between Santa Fe Avenue and Union Avenue; Union Avenue between First Street and Abriendo Avenue; Tenth Street between Santa Fe Avenue and Grand Avenue; Grand Avenue between Union Avenue and Thirteenth Street; Abriendo Avenue between Union Avenue and Summit Street; Evans Avenue between Union Avenue and Summit Street; Jefferson Street between Abriendo Avenue and Evans Avenue; Section 2. Any driver, gripman, motorneer or other person, who shall violate any of the provisions of the foregoing section, or who sha34 run any street car over any of the streets or parts of streets named in the foregoing section, without having a competant conductor in attendance on such car, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemean— or and on conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum, not less than ten (10) nor more than three hundred (300) dollars for each and every offense.
