An ordinance amending Section 6 of Ordinance 210 entitled "An ordinance
concerning licenses" passed September 13, 1889 said section being Section 6 of
Article 3 of Chapter 11 of the Compiled Ordinances of the City of Pueblo of 1892.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Pueblo Colorado.
Section 1.
That section 6 of an ordinance entitled "An ordinande concerning licenses"
passed September 13, 1889 said sedtionbeing Section6 of Article 3 of Chapter 11
of the compiled ordinances of the City of Pueblo of 1892 be and the same is hereby
amianded to read as follows:
Section 6
It shall be unlawful for any person to deal in, barter, sell or give away
any beer, ale, porter, or other malt liquor within the corporate limits of the
City of Pueblo or without the limits and within one mile of the boundaries thereof
in quantities less than one keg or case, except under Authority of a license as
herein before provided, unexpired and unrevoked or in quantities of one keg or
one case exceeding one keg or one case, drank or to be drank upon the premises
where sold or adjacent to such premises owned, used or controlled by such person.
And it shall be unlawful for any person to deal in barter, seal or give
away any wine, whiskey, brandy, gin or other spirituou - , vinous, or .fermented
liquor other than malt liquor within the corporate limits of the City of Pueblo
or without the limits and within one mile of the boundaries therof, in quantities
less than one pint, except under the authority of a license as herein provided
for, unexpired and unrevoked, provided that druggists shall not be deemed within
the provisions of this ordinance in selling any such liquors for the purpose
purely sacramental or mechanical or for medical purposes upon the wiTitten pre-
scription of a physician not to be drank upon the premises.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed

guilty of a misdeamor and shall for such offense be fined not less than fifty.
dollars ($50.00) nor more than three hundred dollars ($300.00)
A keg within the meaning of this section shall be an ordinary beer keg
holding and containing five (5) gallons and a case within the meaning of this
section shall be not less than Twelve (12) quart twenty -four (24) pint or
fourty -eight (48) half pint bottles.
