A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT BY THE
MAYOR OF JAMES SPITZER TO SERVE A THREE-YEAR
TERM EXPIRING JULY 1, 2027 ON THE PUEBLO MEMORIAL
AIRPORT ADVISORY COMMITTEE IN THE COMMERCIAL
SERVICE OPERATOR POSITION
WHEREAS, Mayor Heather Graham has requested confirmation by the City Council of
her appointment of James Spitzer to serve a three-year term expiring July 1, 2027, on the
Pueblo Memorial Airport Advisory Committee in the Commercial Service Operator position;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The appointment by the Mayor of James Spitzer to the Pueblo Memorial Airport Advisory
Committee in the Commercial Service Operator position to serve a three-year term expiring July
1, 2027 shall be and is hereby confirmed by the City Council.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent
with this Resolution to implement the appointments described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective on the date of final action by the Mayor and City
Council.

SUMMARY:
This Resolution confirms the appointment by the Mayor of James Spitzer to serve a
three-year term expiring July 1, 2027 on the Pueblo Memorial Airport Advisory
Committee in the Commercial Service Operator position.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
The Mayor has made appointments to boards and commissions selecting individuals to
serve terms which expire during a particular calendar year and presented them to
Council for approval.
BACKGROUND:
Due to the normal term expiration of Todd Engel, there is one appointment available for
a commercial operator to serve a three-year term expiring July 31, 2027, on the Pueblo
Memorial Airport Advisory Committee.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.

ALTERNATIVES:
Remove from agenda and re-advertise for additional applications.
