HomeMy WebLinkAbout15629RESOLUTION NO. 15629 A RESOLUTION RAT APPOINTMENT OF LARRY MOORE TO THE ELECTRICAL BOARD OF APPEALS - JOURNEYMAN POSITION AND SETH BOUTILIER TO THE ELECTRICAL BOARD OF APPEALS - ELECTRIC UTILITY EMPLOYEE POSITION WHEREAS, PACOG duly convened and appointed Larry Moore to the Electrical Board of Appeals - Journeyman Position and Seth Boutilier to the Electrical Board of Appeals - Electric Utility Employee Position to complete three-year terms expiring on July 1, 2026; it is now the desire of the Pueblo City Council to ratify said appointment; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that SECTION 1. The appointment of Larry Moore to the Electrical Board of Appeals - Journeyman Position and Seth Boutilier to the Electrical Board of Appeals - Electric Utility Employee Position to complete three-year terms expiring on July 1, 2026, shall be and hereby is ratified. SECTION 2. The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with this Resolution to implement the appointment described herein. SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage. Resolutions to ratify the joint appointments are passed by each entity. BACKGROUND: There are vacancies available on the Regional Building Department Boards of Appeal for joint City-County appointments for citizens to complete a three-year term. Available terms are 1 vacancy for a General Contractor, 1 vacancy for a Journeyman, and 1 vacancy for an Electric Utility Employee. The following individual(s) applied: Larry Moore (Journeyman) and Seth Boutilier (Electric Utility Employee). FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: N/A STAKEHOLDER PROCESS: N/A ALTERNATIVES: City Council in agreement with the County Commissioners could remove the Resolution from the Agenda, request that the recruitment process be extended in order to receive additional applications for consideration. RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the Resolution. ATTACHMENTS: None
