A RESOLUTION RATIFYIOINTMENT
OF MARK KLEVEN TO THE BUILDING BOARD OF APPEALS -
GENERAL CONTRACTOR POSITION
WHEREAS, PACOG duly convened and appointed Mark Kleven to the Building Board of
Appeals - General Contractor Position to complete a three-year term expiring on July 1, 2026; it
is now the desire of the Pueblo City Council to ratify said appointment; NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The appointment of Mark Kleven to the Building Board of Appeals - General Contractor
Position to complete a three-year term expiring July 1, 2026, shall be and hereby is ratified.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent
with this Resolution to implement the appointment described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage.

CONTRACTOR POSITION
SUMMARY:
This resolution ratifies the joint City-County appointment of members to serve on the
Building Board of Appeals
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Joint City-County appointments to the Building Board of Appeals are made on an
annual basis selecting individuals to serve expiring or vacant terms. Resolutions to
ratify the joint appointments are passed by each entity.
BACKGROUND:
There are vacancies available on the Regional Building Department Boards of Appeal
for joint City-County appointments for citizens to complete a three-year term. Available
terms are 1 vacancy for a Contractor, and 1 vacancy for an Architect.
The following individual applied Mark Kleven (Contractor).
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.

N/A
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
N/A
ALTERNATIVES:
City Council in agreement with the County Commissioners could remove the Resolution
from the Agenda, request that the recruitment process be extended in order to receive
additional applications for consideration.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Resolution.
