A RESOLUTION RATIFYIOINTMENT
OF JASON BAKER, JEFF HECKLER, MICHAEL MESSERVY,
AND MILES LUCERO TO THE COMMUNITY SERVICES
ADVISORY COMMISSION (CSAC)
WHEREAS, PACOG duly convened and appointed Jason Baker to complete a four-year
term expiring on April 30, 2027; it is now the desire of the Pueblo City Council to ratify said
appointment; and
WHEREAS, PACOG duly convened and appointed Jeff Heckler, Michael Messervy, and
Miles Lucero to serve a four-year term expiring on April 30, 2028; it is now the desire of the
Pueblo City Council to ratify said appointment; NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The appointment of Jason Baker to the Community Services Advisory Commission
(CSAC) to complete a four-year term expiring April 30, 2027, shall be and hereby is ratified.
SECTION 2.
The appointment of Jeff Heckler, Michael Messervy, and Miles Lucero to the Community
Services Advisory Commission (CSAC) to serve a four-year term expiring April 30, 2028, shall
be and hereby is ratified.
SECTION 3.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent
with this Resolution to implement the appointment described herein.
SECTION 4.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage.

LUCERO TO THE COMMUNITY SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION
(CSAC)
SUMMARY:
This resolution ratifies the joint City-County appointment of members to serve on the
the Community Services Advisory Commission (CSAC).
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Joint City-County appointments to the Community Services Advisory Commission
(CSAC) are made on an annual basis selecting individuals to serve expiring or vacant
terms. Resolutions to ratify the joint appointments are passed by each entity.
BACKGROUND:
There are four vacancies available on the Community Services Advisory Commission
(CSAC) for joint City-County appointments for a citizen to complete a four-year term
due to resignations and term expirations. There is one term available expiring April 30,
2027 and three terms available expiring April 30, 2028.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.

STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
N/A
ALTERNATIVES:
City Council in agreement with the County Commissioners could remove the Resolution
from the Agenda, request that the recruitment process be extended in order to receive
additional applications for consideration.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the resolution.
