(PUEBLO'S LEGACY AND COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE) PROJECT FOR THE USE OF THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG 200 EAST ORMAN AVENUE BETWEEN MICHIGAN STREET AND BROADWAY AVENUE FOR THE PURPOSE OF FACILITATING A COMMUNITY BLOCK PARTY EVENT BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that SECTION 1. The attached Revocable Permit (REV-24-4) is authorized to be issued to P.L.A.C.E. (Pueblo's Legacy and Community Experience) Project for the use of the public right-of-way along 200 East Orman Avenue between Michigan Street and Broadway Avenue for the purpose of facilitating a community block party event on April 30, 2024, starting from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. SECTION 2. The use of the public right-of-way granted hereby is subject to all limitations, terms, and conditions set forth in the attached Revocable Permit. SECTION 3. The officers of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with the intent of this Resolution to implement the policies and procedures described herein. SECTION 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval. (Pueblo's Legacy and Community Experience) for use of the the public right- of-way on E. Orman Ave. between Michigan Street and Broadway Avenue. PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: None. BACKGROUND: The P.L.A.C.E. Project has submitted a revocable permit (REV-24-4) application requesting to close the public right-of-way along 200 East Orman Avenue between Michigan Street and Broadway Avenue for the purpose of facilitating a community block party event on April 30, 2024, starting at 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: None. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: The Revocable Permit Review Committee recommends approval. STAKEHOLDER PROCESS: None. ALTERNATIVES: Failure to approve the Resolution will prevent the applicant from facilitating a community block party event. RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the Resolution. ATTACHMENTS: 1.
