HomeMy WebLinkAbout15490RESOLUTION NO. 15490 A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT BY THE MAYOR OF DAVID ROSCOVER TO COMPLETE A THREE- YEAR TERM EXPIRING NOVEMBER 1, 2026 ON THE PUEBLO STREETSCAPE ADVISORY COMMITTEE WHEREAS, Mayor Heather Graham has requested confirmation by the City Council of her appointment of David Roscover to the Pueblo Streetscape Advisory Committee; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that SECTION 1. The appointment by the Mayor of David Roscover to the Pueblo Streetscape Advisory Committee to complete a three-year term expiring November 1, 2026, shall be and is hereby confirmed by the City Council. SECTION 2. The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with this Resolution to implement the appointments described herein. SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective on the date of final action by the Mayor and City Council. PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: The Mayor has made appointments to boards and commissions selecting individuals to serve terms which expire during a particular calendar year and presented them to Council for approval. BACKGROUND: Due to the term expirations of Michael Carlisle and William (Bill) Zwick, there are two appointments available to serve a three-year term expiring November 1, 2026 on the Pueblo Streetscape Advisory Committee. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: N/A STAKEHOLDER PROCESS: N/A ALTERNATIVES: Remove from agenda and re-advertise for additional applications. RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the Resolution.
