A RESOLUTION RATIFYING PACOG'S APPOINTMENT OF
CONNIE BRUMMET AND KAREN CALLANAN TO THE
COMMUNITY SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION (CSAC)
WHEREAS, this Resolution ratifies the joint appointment made at the PACOG meeting on
October 26, 2023, by City-County Representatives who were present; NOW, THEREFORE;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
Connie Brummet and Karen Callanan are hereby appointed to the Community Services
Advisory Commission to complete a four-year term expiring April 30, 2027.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent
with this Resolution to implement the appointment described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage.

SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION RATIFYING PACOG'S APPOINTMENT OF CONNIE
BRUMMET AND KAREN CALLANAN TO THE COMMUNITY SERVICES
ADVISORY COMMISSION (CSAC)
SUMMARY:
This resolution ratifies the joint City-County appointments of members to the
Community Services Advisory Commission to complete vacant terms.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Joint City-County appointments to the Community Services Advisory Commission are
made on an annual basis, selecting individuals to serve staggered four-year terms
expiring on April 30th of each year. Resolutions to ratify the joint appointments are
passed by each entity.
BACKGROUND:
Currently there are several vacancies on the Community Services Advisory
Commission due to term expirations and/or resignations. Pueblo County
Commissioners and Pueblo City Council approved the appointment of these two
applicants at the October 26, 2023, Pueblo Area Council of Governments meeting.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.

N/A
ALTERNATIVES:
City Council in agreement with the County Commissioners could remove the Resolution
from the Agenda, request that the recruitment process be extended in order to receive
additional applications for consideration.
