A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A
REVOCABLE PERMIT (REV-23-39) TO THE P.L.A.C.E.
(PUEBLO'S LEGACY AND COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE)
PROJECT FOR THE USE OF THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY
ALONG RUBERSON DRIVE BETWEEN WEST 18TH STREET
AND WEST 22ND STREET TO HOST A COMMUNITY BLOCK
PARTY AND RESOURCE FAIR FOR FAMILIES ON THE WEST
SIDE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The attached Revocable Permit (REV-23-39) is authorized to be issued to the P.L.A.C.E.
(Pueblo's Legacy and Community Experience) Project for the use of the public right-of-way along
Ruberson Drive between West 18th Street and West 22nd Street to host a community block party
and resource fair for families on the west side.
SECTION 2.
The use of the public right-of-way granted hereby is subject to all limitations, terms, and
conditions set forth in the attached Revocable Permit.
SECTION 3.
The officers of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with the
intent of this Resolution to implement the policies and procedures described herein.
SECTION 4.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

SUMMARY:
Attached is a Revocable Permit (REV-23-39) to be issued to the P.L.A.C.E. (Pueblo's
Legacy and Community Experience) Project.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
None.
BACKGROUND:
The P.L.A.C.E. (Pueblo's Legacy and Community Experience) Project has submitted a
Revocable Permit application (REV-23-39) requesting to use the right-of-way along
Ruberson Drive between West 18 Street and West 22nd Street to host a community
block party and resource fair for families on the west side September 26, 2023,
between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
None.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
The Revocable Permit Review Committee recommends approval.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
None.
ALTERNATIVES:
Failure to approve the Resolution will prevent the applicant from hosting a community block
party and resource fair for families on the west side.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Resolution.
