HomeMy WebLinkAbout15352RESOLUTION NO. 15352 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ANDY JESIK TO SERVE A THREE-YEAR TERM EXPIRING OCTOBER 1, 2026 ON THE REGIONAL BUILDING COMMISSION WHEREAS, Mayor Nicholas A. Gradisar has requested the City Council appoint his nomination of Andy Jesik to the Regional Building Commission to serve a three-year term expiring October 1, 2026; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that SECTION 1. Andy Jesik is hereby appointed to the Regional Building Commission to serve a three- year term expiring October 1, 2026. SECTION 2. The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with this Resolution to implement the appointment described herein. SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage. Gradisar VIA: Marisa Stoller, City Clerk FROM: Nicholas Gradisar, Mayor SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ANDY JESIK TO SERVE A THREE- YEAR TERM EXPIRING OCTOBER 1, 2026 ON THE REGIONAL BUILDING COMMISSION SUMMARY: This Resolution appoints Andy Jesik to serve a three-year term expiring October 1, 2026 on the Regional Building Commission. PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: The Mayor and City Council have made appointments to the Pueblo Regional Building Commission selecting individuals as City appointments to serve terms which expire during a calendar year. BACKGROUND: Due to the term expiration of John Ribal, there is one appointment available to serve a three-year term expiring October 1, 2026 on the Regional Building Commission. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: None. STAKEHOLDER PROCESS: None. ALTERNATIVES: Remove from the agenda and re-advertise for additional applications. RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the Resolution. ATTACHMENTS: None
