A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A
REVOCABLE PERMIT (REV-23-29) TO PUEBLO COMMUNITY
COLLEGE FOR THE USE OF THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY
ALONG ORMAN AVENUE BETWEEN ARTHUR STREET AND
MARILYN PLACE TO HOST ITS ANNUAL WELCOME BACK TO
CAMPUS EVENT ON MONDAY, AUGUST 21, 2023
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The attached Revocable Permit (Rev-23-29) is authorized to be issued to Pueblo
Community College for use of the public right-of-way for their annual Welcome Back event on
Monday, August 21, 2023.
SECTION 2.
The use of the public right-of-way granted hereby is subject to all limitations, terms, and
conditions set forth in the attached Revocable Permit (REV-23-29).
SECTION 3.
The officers of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with the
intent of this Resolution to implement the policies and procedures described herein.
SECTION 4.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

SUMMARY:
This resolution approves the issuance of a Revocable Permit (REV-23-29) to Pueblo
Community College.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
None.
BACKGROUND:
Pueblo Community College has requested to close a segment of Orman Avenue
between Marilyn Place and Arthur Street to vehicular traffic from 6:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
on Monday, August 21, 2023 in support of their annual Welcome Back to Campus
event.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
None.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
The Revocable Permit Review Committee recommends approval.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
None.
ALTERNATIVES:
Failure to approve the Resolution will prevent the applicant from closing Orman Avenue
to vehicular traffic for the Welcome Back event.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Resolution.
