A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING $3,158.75 FROM PROJECT
NO. LT2001 INTO PROJECT NO. LT1501 CITY PARK
RENOVATIONS FOR ADDITIONAL EXPENSES ASSOCIATED
WITH THE CITY PARK POOL PARKING LOT PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The transfer of funds in the amount of $3,158.75 is hereby authorized from Project No.
LT2001 into Project No. LT1501 City Park Renovations.
SECTION 2.
The officers of the City are authorized and directed to perform any and all acts
consistent with the intent of this Resolution to implement the policies and procedures described
herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage.

PARKING LOT PROJECT
SUMMARY:
This Resolution authorizes the transfer of $3,158.75 from Project No. LT2001 into
Project No. LT1501 City Park Renovations for additional expenses associated with the
City Park Pool Parking Lot Project.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Not applicable to this Resolution.
BACKGROUND:
On January 9, 2023, City Council approved Resolution 15126 which awarded a
construction contract in the amount of $103,582.50 to Baha Construction, Inc. for
Project No. 22-088 City Park Pool Parking Lot. It has been determined that the actual
construction amount exceeded the contract amount by $3,167.55. The current available
balance in Project No. LT1501 City Park Renovations is $8.80.

ALTERNATIVES:
City Council could elect not to allow the transfer and the contractor will not receive the
additional payment to cover the excess project expenses already completed.

Approval of the Resolution.
