HomeMy WebLinkAbout15287RESOLUTION NO. 15287 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A REVOCABLE PERMIT (REV-23-26) TO THE PUEBLO PERFORMING ARTS GUILD FOR THE USE OF THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG SOUTH GRAND AVENUE BETWEEN CITY CENTER DRIVE AND VICTORIA STREET FOR THE PURPOSE OF FACILITATING THEIR FIRST CREATIVE CORRIDOR JAZZ CONCERT, JULY 7, THROUGH JULY 8, 2023. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that SECTION 1. The attached Revocable Permit (REV-23-26) is authorized to be issued to the Pueblo Performing Arts Guild for the use of the right-of-way along South Grand Avenue between City Center Drive and Victoria Street for the purpose of facilitating their first Creative Corridor Jazz Concert, July 7 through July 8, 2023. SECTION 2. The use of the public right-of-way granted hereby is subject to all limitations, terms, and conditions set forth in the attached Revocable Permit. SECTION 3. The officers of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with the intent of this Resolution to implement the policies and procedures described herein. SECTION 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval. SUMMARY: Attached is a resolution authorizing the issuance of a Revocable Permit submitted by the Pueblo Performing Arts Guild for their first Creative Corridor Jazz Concert. PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: None. BACKGROUND: The Pueblo Performing Arts Guild has submitted a Revocable Permit (REV-23-26) application requesting to close South Grand Avenue between City Center Drive and Victoria Street for the purpose of facilitating their first Creative Corridor Jazz Concert, July 7 thruoug July 8, 2023. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: None. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: The Revocable Permit Review Committee recommends approval. STAKEHOLDER PROCESS: None. ALTERNATIVES: Failure to approve the Resolution will prevent the applicant from hosting their jazz concert. RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the Resolution. ATTACHMENTS: None
