A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING $15,000.00 FROM PROJECT NO. CD2018
INTO PROJECT NO. CD2112 SUNNY SIDE NEIGHBORHOOD
IMPROVEMENTS FOR INFRASTRUCTURE AT SAGE STREET AND WINDY
WAY. THE PROJECT WAS A NEIGHBORHOOD DRIVEN INITIATIVE TO
IMPROVE ACCESSIBILITY NEAR THE GOODNIGHT SCHOOL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
Funds in the amount of $15,000.00 are hereby transferred from Project No. CD2018 into
Project No. CD2112 for Sunnyside Neighborhood Improvements.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent
with the intent of this Resolution which are necessary or desirable to implement the transactions
described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING $15,000.00 FROM PROJECT NO.
CD2018 INTO PROJECT NO. CD2112 SUNNY SIDE NEIGHBORHOOD
IMPROVEMENTS FOR INFRASTRUCTURE AT SAGE STREET AND
WINDY WAY. THE PROJECT WAS A NEIGHBORHOOD DRIVEN
INITIATIVE TO IMPROVE ACCESSIBILITY NEAR THE GOODNIGHT
SCHOOL.
SUMMARY:
This Resolution transfers money from prior Project No. CD2018 into Project No.
CD2112 Sunny Side Neighborhood Improvements for infrastructure at Sage Street and
Windy Way. The project was a neighborhood driven initiative to improve accessibility
near the Goodnight School.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Council previously authorized Project No. CD2112 Sunny Side Neighborhood
Improvements.
BACKGROUND:
To comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the City of Pueblo installs
ADA compliant infrastructure to increase accessibility throughout the city for those with
disabilities. This funding will be utilized to complete accessibility improvements at the
intersection of Sage Street and Windy Way.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Not applicable to this Resolution.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
The Citizen Advisory Committee recommended funding the project.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
Neighborhood input was received as a basis for design.
ALTERNATIVES:
Council could elect not to allow the transfer and the project would be scaled back to
meet the original $100,000.00 budget.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Resolution.
