Gradisar VIA: Marisa Stoller, City Clerk FROM: Alyssa Parga, Secretary to the Mayor SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT BY THE MAYOR OF MIKE CASTELLUCCI AND GEORGIA WAY TO THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS SUMMARY: This Resolution confirms the appointment by the Mayor of members to the Zoning Board of Appeals to serve a four-year term expiring June 30, 2027. PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: The Mayor has made appointments to the Zoning Board of Appeals selecting individuals to serve terms which expire during a particular calendar year and presented them to Council for approval. BACKGROUND: Due to the term expirations of Mike Castellucci and Georgia Way, there are two spots available to serve a four-year term expiring June 30, 2027 on the Zoning Board of Appeals. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: Members of the Zoning Board of Appeals receive $25.00 for each regular or special meeting attended. The Chairman of the Board receives as additional compensation the sum of $50.00 per month for each month of service as Chairman. These monies are allocated in the Planning and Community Services annual budget. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: N/A STAKEHOLDER PROCESS: N/A ALTERNATIVES: Remove from the agenda and re-advertise for additional applications RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the Resolution. ATTACHMENTS: None RESOLUTION NO. 15267 A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT BY THE MAYOR OF MIKE CASTELLUCCI AND GEORGIA WAY TO THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS WHEREAS, Mayor Nicholas A. Gradisar has requested confirmation by the City Council of his appointment of Mike Castellucci and Georgia Way to the Zoning Board of Appeals to serve a four-year term expiring June 30, 2027; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that SECTION 1. Mike Castellucci and Georgia Way are hereby reappointed to the Zoning Board of Appeals to serve a four-year term expiring June 30, 2027. SECTION 2. The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with this Resolution to implement the appointment described herein. SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage.
