HomeMy WebLinkAbout15195RESOLUTION NO. 15195 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A REVOCABLE PERMIT (REV-23-13) TO THE FOOD TRUCK UNION, LLC., A COLORADO LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY, FOR USE OF THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG COURT STREET AND W. 15TH STREET ADJACENT TO MINERAL PALACE PARK TO FACILITATE FOOD TRUCK UNION EVENTS ON CERTAIN SPECIFIED DATES BETWEEN APRIL 14, 2023 AND OCTOBER 31, 2023 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that SECTION 1. The attached Revocable Permit is authorized to be issued to The Food Truck Union, LLC., a Colorado Limited Liability Company, for use of the Court Street right-of-way and the W. 15th Street right-of-way to facilitate food truck events in Mineral Palace Park. SECTION 2. The use of the public right-of-way granted hereby is subject to all limitations, terms, and conditions set forth in the attached Revocable Permit. SECTION 3. The officers of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with this resolution to implement the policies and procedures described herein. SECTION 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval. Gradisar VIA: Marisa Stoller, City Clerk FROM: Andrew Hayes, Public Works Director SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A REVOCABLE PERMIT (REV-23-13) TO THE FOOD TRUCK UNION, LLC., A COLORADO LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY, FOR USE OF THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG COURT STREET AND W. 15TH STREET ADJACENT TO MINERAL PALACE PARK TO FACILITATE FOOD TRUCK UNION EVENTS ON CERTAIN SPECIFIED DATES BETWEEN APRIL 14, 2023 AND OCTOBER 31, 2023 SUMMARY: Attached is a draft Revocable Permit for The Food Truck Union, LLC., to utilize the public right-of-way along Court Street adjacent to Mineral Palace Park for the purpose of facilitating food truck events in Mineral Palace Park on selected dates between April 14, 2023, and October 31, 2023. PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: None. BACKGROUND: The Food Truck Union, LLC., will be hosting weekly food truck events in Mineral Palace Park between April 2023 and October 2023. The Food Truck Union, LLC., has requested the issuance of a revocable permit for the use of the public parking spaces along Court Street adjacent to Mineral Palace Park. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: None. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: The Revocable Permit Review Committee recommends approval. STAKEHOLDER PROCESS: Not applicable to this Resolution. ALTERNATIVES: Failure to approve the Resolution will prevent the applicant from being able to utilize the public parking spaces along Court Street. RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the Resolution.
