HomeMy WebLinkAbout10423ORDINANCE NO. 10423 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 10373 TO UPDATE THE ASSIGNED PROJECT NUMBER FROM PL2203 TO PL2301 WHEREAS, City Council passed Ordinance No. 10373 on January 23, 2023, establishing Project No. PL2203 - Colorado Smelter Revitalization Project Support and budgeting and appropriating $22,000.00 to said project account; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. The project number and title for Project No. PL2203 - Colorado Smelter Revitalization Project Support, is hereby amended to Project No. PL2301 - Colorado Smelter Revitalization Project Support. SECTION 2. Funds budgeted and appropriated in the amount of $22,000.00 to Project No. PL2203 shall be budgeted and appropriated under the new project number, PL2301. SECTION 3. The officers of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with this Ordinance to implement the policies and procedures described herein. SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall become effective on the date of final action by the Mayor and City Council. Gradisar VIA: Marisa Stoller, City Clerk FROM: Andrew Hayes, Public Works Director SUBJECT: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 10373 TO UPDATE THE ASSIGNED PROJECT NUMBER FROM PL2203 TO PL2301 SUMMARY: This Ordinance amends the assigned project number for Project No. PL2203 - Colorado Smelter Revitalization Project Support to PL2301 - Colorado Smelter Revitalization Project Support. PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: On January 23, 2023, City Council passed Ordinance No. 10373, which established Project No. PL2203 and budgeted and appropriated $22,000.00 into that account. On January 9, 2023, City Council passed Ordinance No. 10369, which approved an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment which outlined terms and conditions related to the City of Pueblo's support of several work items in support of certain projects identified in the Colorado Smelter Revitalization Plan. On October 26, 2020, City Council passed Resolution No. 14496, adopting the Colorado Smelter Revitalization Plan, which approved a slate of improvement projects in the Bessemer, Bojon Town, and the Grove neighborhoods that could be completed as funding became available. BACKGROUND: This Ordinance amends Ordinance No. 10373, updating the assigned project account number from PL2203 to PL2301. The funds previously appropriated to PL2203 will be reappropriated into Project No. PL2301. The project title will not change. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: Not applicable to this Ordinance. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable to this Ordinance. STAKEHOLDER PROCESS: Not applicable to this Ordinance. ALTERNATIVES: Not approving the Ordinance would prevent the assigned project number from being updated. RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the Ordinance. ATTACHMENTS: None
