A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF
BUDGETED AND APPROPRIATED FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT
OF $332,311.26 FROM PROJECT NO. HU2102 - PORTLAND
AVENUE ROADWAY & CONCRETE REPAIR TO PROJECT NO.
HUAN03 - CROSS PAN/CURB AND GUTTER AND CLOSING
OUT PROJECT NO. HU2102
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The transfer of previously budgeted and appropriated funds in the amount of
$332,311.26 from Project No. HU2102 - Portland Avenue Roadway & Concrete Repair to
Project No. HUAN03 - Cross Pan/Curb and Gutter is hereby approved.
SECTION 2.
The officers of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with this
Resolution to implement the policies and procedures described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

SUMMARY:
This resolution approves the transfer of previously budgeted and appropriated funds in the
amount of $332,311.26 from Project No. HU2102 - Portland Avenue Roadway & Concrete
Repair to Project No. HUAN03 - Cross Pan/Curb and Gutter. The resolution also closes out
Project HU2102 for 2023.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
On June 28, 2021, by Resolution No. 14652, Council approved the establishment of Project No.
HU2102 - Portland Avenue Roadway and Concrete Repair and budgeted and appropriated
$800,000.00 for the project.
On August 23, 2021, by Resolution 14685, Council awarded a construction contract to RME
Ltd., LLC., dba Elite Surface Infrastructure for Project No. 21-058 Portland Avenue Road
Repairs.
BACKGROUND:
Project No. HU2102 was initially created to perform road repairs on Portland Avenue in 2021.
These road repairs are now complete.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Transferring these funds as described herein will ensure there are appropriate funds available in
Project No. HUAN03.

Not applicable to this resolution.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
Not applicable to this resolution.
ALTERNATIVES:
If this resolution is not approved by the City Council, the required funds will not be allocated
to Project HUAN03.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the resolution.
