Gradisar VIA: Marisa Stoller, City Clerk FROM: Alyssa Parga, Secretary to the Mayor SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT BY THE MAYOR OF RANDY MCCALL AND JESSICA MOORE TO THE SANGRE DE CRISTO ARTS AND CONFERENCE CENTER BOARD OF TRUSTEES SUMMARY: This Resolution appoints members to the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center Board of Trustees to serve three-year terms expiring December 31, 2025. PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: City Council has made appointments to the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center Board of Trustees selecting individuals to serve terms which expire at the end of a particular calendar year. Amended City Charter Section 4-4 (i) now requires that such appointments be made by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by City Council. BACKGROUND: Due to the term expirations of Janet Creswell and Chris Milliken and the term limit of Warren Diodosio, there are three openings on this board. Following advertisements published in the Pueblo Chieftain, social media, and an announcement on the City's webpage seeking volunteers to serve on this committee, two applications were received by the deadline. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: This a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: None. STAKEHOLDER PROCESS: None. ALTERNATIVES: Remove from agenda and re-advertise for additional applications. RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the Resolution. ATTACHMENTS: 1. SDC - McCall App 2. SDC - Moore Packet
