HomeMy WebLinkAbout15037 RESOLUTION NO. 15037 A RESOLUTION RATIFYING PACOG'S JOINT APPOINTMENT OF CLARA TRAUTMAN TO THE COMMUNITY SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION (CSAC) WHEREAS, there is one (1) vacancy to be filled on the Community Services Advisory Commission – Joint City-County appointment. This appointment shall complete a four-year term expiring April 30, 2024; and WHEREAS, this Resolution ratifies the joint appointments made following the PACOG meeting on September 22, 2022, by City-County Representatives who were present; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that SECTION 1. Clara Trautman is hereby appointed to the Community Services Advisory Commission to complete a four-year term expiring April 30, 2024. SECTION 2. The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with the intent of this Resolution to implement the appointment described therein. SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage. Gradisar VIA: Marisa Stoller, City Clerk FROM: Alyssa Parga, Secretary to the Mayor SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION RATIFYING PACOG'S JOINT APPOINTMENT OF CLARA TRAUTMAN TO THE COMMUNITY SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION (CSAC) SUMMARY: This Resolution ratifies the Joint City-County selection made to the Community Services Advisory Commission (CSAC) to complete a four-year term expiring April 30, 2024. PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: Joint City-County appointments to the Community Services Advisory Commission are made on an annual basis selecting individuals to serve staggered four-year terms th expiring on April 30 of each year. Resolutions to ratify the joint appointments are passed by each entity. BACKGROUND: Due to the resignation of Dorothy Butcher, there is one vacancy available on the Community Services Advisory Commission (CSAC) expiring April 30, 2024. The recruitment process for 2022 was handled by the Pueblo City Staff seeking volunteers to serve on this committee and an application was received from Clara Trautman. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: None STAKEHOLDER PROCESS: None ALTERNATIVES: City Council in agreement with the County Commissioners could remove the Resolution from the Agenda, request that the recruitment process be extended in order to receive additional applications for consideration.
