A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT BY
THE MAYOR OF ALBERT HERRERA TO THE REGIONAL
BUILDING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Mayor Nicholas A. Gradisar has requested confirmation by the City
Council of his appointment of Albert Herrera to the Regional Building Commission to
serve a three-year term expiring October 1, 2025; NOW, THEREFORE;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The following individual is hereby appointed to the Regional Building Commission
to serve a three-year term expiring October 1, 2025.

SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts
consistent with this Resolution to implement the appointment described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage.

SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT BY THE MAYOR OF
ALBERT HERRERA TO THE REGIONAL BUILDING COMMISSION
SUMMARY:
This Resolution confirms the appointment by the Mayor of a member to serve a three-year term
expiring October 1, 2025 on the Regional Building Commission.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
City Council has made appointments to the Pueblo Regional Building Commission selecting
individuals as City appointments to serve terms which expire during a calendar year. Amended
City Charter Section 4-4 (i) now requires that such appointments be made by the Mayor, subject
to confirmation by City Council.
BACKGROUND:
Due to the upcoming term expiration of Albert Herrera, there is one appointment available to serve
a three-year term expiring October 1, 2025 on the Regional Building Commission.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.

None.

None.

Remove from agenda and re-advertise for additional applications.
