A RESOLUTION RATIFYING PACOG’S JOINT
APPOINTMENT OF ROBERT BERRIER TO THE PUEBLO
REGIONAL BUILDING – ELECTRICAL BOARD OF
APPEALS – JOURNEYMAN
WHEREAS, this Resolution ratifies the joint appointment of Robert Berrier made
following the PACOG meeting on June 23, 2022, by City-County Representatives who
were present; NOW, THEREFORE;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The following individual is hereby appointed to the Pueblo Regional Building –
Electrical Board of Appeals to complete a three-year term expiring July 1, 2025.

SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts
consistent with this Resolution to implement the appointment described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage.

SUMMARY:
This resolution ratifies the joint City-County appointment of a journeyman to the Regional Building
Commission’s Electrical Board of Appeals to complete a three-year term.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Joint City-County appointments to the Pueblo Regional Building Commission are made on an
st
annual basis selecting individuals to serve three-year terms expiring on July 1 of each year.
Resolutions to ratify the joint appointments are passed by each entity.
BACKGROUND:
There is one vacancy on the Pueblo Regional Building – Electrical Board of Appeals due to the
term expiration of Jose Delatorre who did not reapply.
Following the PACOG meeting on June 23, 2022, the BOCC and City Council members reviewed
the application and appointed Robert Berrier.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
None.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
None.
ALTERNATIVES:
City Council in agreement with the County Commissioners could remove the Resolution from the
Agenda, request that the recruitment process be extended in order to receive additional
applications for consideration.
