A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT BY
THE MAYOR OF WESTON BURRER TO THE
SOUTHPOINTE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT MAINTENANCE
DISTRICT ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, Mayor Nicholas A. Gradisar has requested confirmation by the City Council of
his appointment of the following individual to the Southpointe Special Improvement Maintenance
District Advisory Committee; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The appointment by the Mayor of the following individuals to the Southpointe Special
Improvement Maintenance District Advisory Committee, shall be and is hereby confirmed by the
City Council.

SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent
with this Resolution to implement the appointment described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage.

MAINTENANCE DISTRICT ADVISORY COMMITTEE
SUMMARY
This Resolution appoints individuals to the Southpointe Special Improvement Maintenance
District Advisory Committee.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
City Council has made appointments to the Southpointe Special Improvement Maintenance
District Advisory Committee. Amended City Charter Section 4-4 (i) now requires that such
appointments be made by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by City Council.
BACKGROUND
Due to the resignation of Bob Leach, there is one appointment available to serve on the
Southpointe Special Improvement Maintenance District Advisory Committee.
Two applications were reviewed by Mayor Gradisar who has appointed Weston Burrer to serve
on the SIMD.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS
This a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.

None.

Remove from agenda and re-advertise for additional applications.
