RESOLUTION NO. 14742
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF PUEBLO TRANSIT
PROJECT NO. PT2101 AND TRANSFERRING OPERATING FY2020 CARRY
OVER FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,075,648 INTO SAID PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
Project No. PT2101 is hereby established, and the previously budgeted and appropriated
FY2020 carry over funds, in the amount of $1,075,648, is hereby transferred into Project No.
PT2101.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with
this Resolution to implement the policies and procedures described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF PUEBLO TRANSIT
PROJECT NO. PT2101 AND TRANSFERRING OPERATING FY2020 CARRY
OVER FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,075,648 INTO SAID PROJECT
SUMMARY:
Carry over grant funds will not be fully utilized by the close of FY2021 and need to be placed into
Project No. PT2101, to secure these funds.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
On April 26, 2021, Ordinance #9976, approved by City Council, budgeted and appropriated
FY2020 carry over funds, in the amount of $1,075,648, into the FY2021 Pueblo Transit operating
budget.
BACKGROUND:
Pueblo Transit previously received approval for the aforementioned carry over funds to be
budgeted and appropriated into Pueblo Transit’s FY2021 operating budget, including the General
Fund match of $215,130. These funds will not be fully utilized by the close of FY2021, so the
funds need to be placed into Project No. PT2101, to secure the funds and roll the remaining
budgets each year until the funds are fully utilized.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
The funds have previously been budgeted and appropriated into Pueblo Transits operating budget
and will be transferred into Project No. PT2101.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
None.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
None.
ALTERNATIVES:
Denying the Resolution will prevent execution of projects budgeted with these funds.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Resolution.
