A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT BY THE
MAYOR OF LAUREL CAMPBELL AND JASON FALSETTO TO
THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Mayor Nicholas A. Gradisar has requested confirmation by the City Council of
his appointment of the following individuals to the Historic Preservation Commission to serve four-
year terms expiring January 1, 2025; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The appointment by the Mayor of the following individuals to serve four-year terms expiring
January 1, 2025 on the Historic Preservation Commission shall be and is hereby confirmed by
the City Council.

__Jason Falsetto
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with
the intent of this Resolution to implement the policies and procedures described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

SUMMARY:
This Resolution confirms the appointment by the Mayor of members to serve four-year terms
expiring January 1, 2025 on the Historic Preservation Commission.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
City Council has made appointments to the Historic Preservation Commission to serve terms
which expire during a calendar year. Amended City Charter Section 4-4 (i) now requires that such
appointments be made by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by City Council.
BACKGROUND:
Due to the regular term expiration of Incumbent Laurel Campbell and Incumbent Jason Falsetto,
there are two appointments available to serve four-year terms expiring January 1, 2025 on the
Historic Preservation Commission.
Following an advertisement published in the Pueblo Chieftain, an announcement on the City
Clerk’s webpage seeking volunteers to serve on this board, no new applications were received.
Incumbent Laurel Cambpell and Incumbent Jason Falsetto do wish to be considered for
reappointment.
The applications were reviewed by Mayor Gradisar and recommended that both applicants be
reappointed
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
None.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
None.
ALTERNATIVES:
Remove from agenda and re-advertise for additional applications.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Resolution.
