RESOLUTION NO. 14520
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT IN
THE AMOUNT OF $48,857.93 TO CEDAR RIDGE LANDSCAPE,
INC, AND SETTING FORTH $6,142.07 FOR CONTINGENCIES
AND ADDITIONAL WORK FOR PROJECT NO. 20-067 CITIZEN
REQUESTED SIDEWALKS (CDBG) PROJECT, TO BE PAID
FROM PROJECT ACCOUNT CD1914 – CITIZEN REQUESTED
SIDEWALKS (CDBG) AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING
AGENT TO EXECUTE SAME
WHEREAS, competitive bids for Project No. 20-067, Citizen Requested Sidewalks
(CDBG), have been received and examined; and,
WHEREAS, the proposal of Cedar Ridge Landscape, Inc., of Pueblo, Colorado was the
lowest of those bids determined to be responsible; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
A contract for Project No. 20-067, Citizen Requested Sidewalks (CDBG), is hereby
awarded to said bidder in the amount of $48,857.93.
SECTION 2.
In addition to the amount of the bid set forth, as aforementioned, an additional amount of
$6,142.07 is hereby authorized for contingencies and additional work.
SECTION 3.
Funds for Project No. 20-067, Citizen Requested Sidewalks (CDBG), shall be from Project
Account No. CD1914 – Citizen Requested Sidewalks (CDBG).
SECTION 4.
The Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of Pueblo,
a Municipal Corporation, and the City Clerk shall affix the seal of the City thereto and attest the
same.
SECTION 5.
The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and all acts
consistent with the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and procedures described
herein.
SECTION 6.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

SUMMARY:
This Resolution awards a Construction Contract to Cedar Ridge Landscape, Inc., for constructing
A.D.A. compliant curb ramps and sidewalks at various locations within the low/moderate income
areas of the City.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
None.
BACKGROUND:
This Project will consist constructing A.D.A. curb ramps and sidewalks at various locations within
the low/moderate income areas of the City. Construction will include replacement of concrete
sidewalk, curb and gutter, asphalt paving, and other incidental items related to the construction
as detailed in the plans and specifications for this Project
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Funding for this project will be paid from Project Account No. CD1914 – Citizen Requested
Sidewalks (CDBG).
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Not applicable.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
None.
ALTERNATIVES:
Denying the Resolution will result in cancellation of the Project.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Resolution.
