RESOLUTION NO. 14519
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING A
DONATION OF FUNDS FROM THE COLORADO HEALTH
FOUNDATION TO THE CITY OF PUEBLO ON BEHALF OF
THE PUEBLO FOOD PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF
$10,000 AND TRANSFERRING SAID FUNDS TO
PROJECT NO. CO1902
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The donation of funds from the Colorado Health Foundation to the City of Pueblo,
on behalf of the Pueblo Food Project, in the amount of $10,000 is hereby accepted and
approved. The funds shall be accepted and transferred into Project No. CO1902.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and
all acts consistent with the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the transaction
described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective on the date of final action by the Mayor
and City Council.

SUMMARY:
This Resolution approves and accepts a donation of funds from the Colorado Health Foundation
(“CHF”) to the Pueblo Food Project (“PFP”). The funds will be a contribution toward emergency
hunger relief in response to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
City Council has routinely approved the donation to and receipt of donated funds from other
agencies.
BACKGROUND:
The Pueblo Food Project is seeking approval to receive a donation in the amount of $10,000
from the Colorado Health Foundation to be used for emergency hunger relief in response to the
Covid-19 Pandemic. The City of Pueblo is the fiscal agent for the Pueblo Food Project.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
There are no matching funds required for this donation. The City of Pueblo will receive the entire
$10,000 on behalf of the Pueblo Food Project upon passage of the Resolution.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Not applicable to this Resolution.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
Not applicable to this Resolution.
ALTERNATIVES:
If City Council does not approve this Resolution, the donated money will not be accepted. The
PFP will not be able to use the donation for emergency hunger relief.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of this Resolution.
