RESOLUTION NO. 14489
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF TWO
VEHICLES TO THE CITY OF PUEBLO FOR THE USE AND
BENEFIT OF THE PUEBLO FIRE DEPARTMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The City accepts for the use and benefit of the Pueblo Fire Department the
donation of the following identified vehicles by Mr. John Markus:
(1)1996 Jag XJ6 4-door sedan (VIN SAJHX1240TC773172) - valued at $125
as scrap to a salvage yard; and
(2)1993 Eagle Talon 2-door coupe (VIN 4E3CF44E9PE048191) – valued at
$100 as scrap to a salvage yard.
SECTION 2.
The officers of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and all acts
consistent with the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and procedures
described therein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage.

SUMMARY:
The proposed Resolution would give ownership of two donated vehicles to the Pueblo Fire
Department for training.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
None.
BACKGROUND:
The proposed donation Resolution would allow the Donee (John Markus) to gift to the Pueblo Fire
Department two vehicles for department extrication training purposes in the future. The vehicles
and their vehicle identification numbers are in the attached Resolution.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
None.

Not applicable to this Resolution.

RECOMMENDATION:
