RESOLUTION NO. 14485
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT FROM THE
COUNCIL CONTINGENCIES ACCOUNT IN THE 2020
GENERAL FUND BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $700 TO
BE PAID TO THE RON SERNA ANTI-BULLY PROGRAM TO
ASSIST WITH COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH A MURAL
PROJECT IN PLAZA VERDE PARK
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
Payment in the amount of $700 from the Council Contingencies Account in the
2020 General Fund Budget is authorized to be paid to the Ron Serna Anti-Bully Program
to assist with their mural project in Plaza Verde Park.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and
all acts consistent with this Resolution to effectuate the policies and procedures described
herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective upon passage and approval.

SUMMARY:
This Resolution provides financial assistance to the Ron Serna Anti-Bully Program.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
No previous action.
BACKGROUND:
City Council Member Larry Atencio is requesting financial support for the Ron Serna Anti-
Bully Program. The program has acquired the services of local artist Eric Serracino to
remove graffiti from eight murals in Plaza Verde Park and repaint a mural that has been
vandalized over the past few years. This project is a positive step in revitalizing Plaza
Verde Park for the community.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Funds in the amount of $700 would be paid from the Council Contingencies Account in
the 2020 General Fund Budget to the Ron Serna Anti-Bully Program.
