Conquer Childhood Cancers r
January 2020
To Whom It May Concern,
Hello,Brad Riccillo here. I have something to share with you -I haven't cut my hair since October 1, 2019.
Along with a few other Deputies we all will get our heads shaved at the same time! This is on behalf of an event
called St. Baldrick'sWe are raising funds and need your help as a sponsor to reach my goal of
$25,000
I am a Deputy with the Pueblo County Sheriffs Office and also the Captain of SuperTeam PCSO.
This year, the team is comprised of me(Th year), Sgt. Kerrick Meienecke(4`h year), Deputies Nick Berumen (3rd
year), Deputy Aaron Carter(2"d year),Deputy Jacob Mahan(3rd year) and Mr.Jeff Reynolds (5th year). Special
Guest is Mr.Grant Shay (10th year). Hopefully, in between now and then we will be able to recruit many more
members. Last year our goal was$20,000 and we were able to raise over$22,000 with the help of people just
like you!
I'm writing to you today on behalf of the St. Baldrick's Foundation, the organization committed to funding the
most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long, healthy lives. Each year,
300,000 children are diagnosed with cancer worldwide. I would like to ask for your help to fund much needed
childhood cancer research.
St. Baldrick's Foundation is known for their signature head shaving events. It's a whole lot of fun,but the real
goal is to raise money for research that will help save lives. Volunteers worldwide shave their heads to stand in
solidarity with the brave kids who typically lose their hair during cancer treatment. On March 14th,2020(Aura
Salon at 328 South McCulloch Blvd.in Pueblo West) at the St. Baldrick's Event, we will be participating to
raise money for childhood cancer research.
Through the hard work of donors and volunteers, St. Baldrick's has funded more than $178 million in grants,
allowing the foundation to fund more in childhood cancer research than any organization except the United
States government. Every dollar we raise impacts the heroic kids fighting these battles with cancer. With your
support, together we can Conquer Childhood Cancers.
