RESOLUTION NO. 14060
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF PUEBLO
AND STANTEC ARCHITECTURE INC., FOR PUEBLO TRANSIT
RELOCATION STUDY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
Agreement for Professional Services between the City of Pueblo and Stantec Architecture
Inc., a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, having been approved as to form
by the City Attorney, is hereby approved.
SECTION 2.
The President of the City Council is authorized to execute and deliver the Agreement in
the name of the City, and the City Clerk is directed to affix the seal of the City thereto and attest
the same.
SECTION 3.
The officers of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and all acts consistent
with the intent of this Resolution and attached Agreement to effectuate the policies and
procedures described therein.
SECTION 4.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval of
Ordinance No. 9350.

SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF PUEBLO AND STANTEC
ARCHITECTURE INC., FOR PUEBLO TRANSIT RELOCATION STUDY
SUMMARY:
Attached is an agreement for professional services with Stantec Architecture Inc. to conduct the
relocation study for Pueblo Transit’s Administration and Maintenance facility.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
N/A
BACKGROUND:
In recent months there has been an increased desire to move Pueblo Transit’s Administration
and Maintenance facility out of the Riverwalk area freeing the land for future Riverwalk
development. This study is the first step in relocating the facility. The study will examine ten
potential sites near downtown Pueblo.
The consultant, Stantec Architecture Inc. was selected through the Request for Qualifications
process and brings decades worth of design and architecture knowledge specific to transit
facilities, planning and CATEX evaluations.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
The total cost of the project is $180,949 and is estimated to be completed by April 2019. Pueblo
Area Council of Governments is providing $100,000 per resolution 2018-017 and the City of
Pueblo is contributing the remainder of the funds. Funds for this project will be paid out of Project
TP1840 - Pueblo Transit Relocation Study.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Pueblo Transit Board approves the Resolution.

ALTERNATIVES:
Denying the Resolution will terminate the relocation study.
RECOMMENDATION
:
Approval of the Resolution.
