RESOLUTION NO. 14057
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE PUEBLO
REGIONAL BUILDING COMMISSION - CITY APPOINTMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1
The following individual is hereby appointed to the Pueblo Regional Building Commission
– City Appointment for a three-year term expiring October 1, 2021.

SECTION 2
The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and all acts
consistent with the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and procedures described
herein.
SECTION 3
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE PUEBLO REGIONAL
BUILDING COMMISSION – CITY APPOINTMENT
SUMMARY:
This Resolution appoints a member to the Pueblo Regional Building Commission – City
Appointment for a three-year term expiring October 1, 2021.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Appointments to the Pueblo Regional Building Commission are made on an annual basis selecting
st
individuals to serve three-year terms expiring on October 1 of each year.
BACKGROUND:
Due to the term expiration of member Jason Olds there is one appointment to serve a three-year
term expiring October 1, 2021 on the Regional Building Commission. Mr. Olds does wish to be
reappointed.
Following an advertisement published in the Pueblo Chieftain an announcement on the City Clerk’s
webpage no new applications were received.
Since Mr. Olds has served one term on this board and no new applications were received; per
Member of City Council Larry Atencio. his application was acceptable, and no interview was
necessary.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
None.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
None.
ALTERNATIVES:
City Council could remove the Resolution from the Agenda, request that the recruitment process
be extended, and order the public notice for applications be republished in order to receive
additional applications for consideration.
