SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A COMMERCIAL SERVICE OPERATOR
MEMBER TO THE PUEBLO MEMORIAL AIRPORT ADVISORY COMMITTEE
SUMMARY:
This Resolution ratifies the selection of a representative of the Airport’s Commercial Service
Operators (“Operator”) to the Pueblo Memorial Airport Advisory Committee (“Committee”) to
serve a three-term expiring on July 31, 2021.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
On May 22, 2006, City Council approved Resolution No. 10727 that changed the membership of
the Pueblo Memorial Airport Advisory Committee to include a Commercial Service Operator
representative.
Since that time, City Council has appointed a Commercial Service Operator representative to
the Committee. Jamie DeVencenty was previously appointed to completed a term as the
thst
Commercial Service Operator representative from May 11, 2015 to July 31, 2015 by
Resolution No. 13230. Resolution 13274 appointed Ms. DeVencenty to her first full term from
August 1, 2015 to July 31, 2018.
BACKGROUND
Resolution No. 10727 states that City Council shall appoint a Commercial Service Operator
representative to the Airport Advisory Committee based on input from a consortium of the
Commercial Service Operators. Airport staff contacted all the Commercial Service Operators in
June 2018. Ms. DeVencenty expressed her interest to continue as the Commercial Service
Operator representative. Representatives from Sibran Properties, LLC. and DB Aero, LLC, dba
Steel City Aviation, declined interest in filling this position.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Not Applicable for this Resolution.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
None.
ALTERNATIVES:

Committee will remain vacant.
