The Pueblo Metro Bomb Squad has assisted the Florence Police Department on several calls over the past years and the Florence Chief of Police wanted to show his appreciation by donating equipment. There is a medium suit, which will better fit the smaller statured members and a large suit to fit the larger members. The two suits are EOD 8 suits, complete with helmets and control boxes, with a total approximate value of $10,000. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: There will be no cost to the City of Pueblo or the Pueblo Police Department in accepting or utilizing these suits. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable. STAKEHOLDER PROCESS: Not applicable. ALTERNATIVES: City Council may choose to refuse the donation of equipment. RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution and accept the donation of equipment.
