RESOLUTION NO. 13983
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY USE OF THE
PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY ON VICTORIA AVENUE BETWEEN
WEST D STREET AND GREENWOOD STREET FOR THE
BENEFIT OF THE PUEBLO POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR THE
PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING THE 2018 NEIGHBORHOOD
SAFETY NIGHT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The City of Pueblo authorizes for the use and benefit of the Pueblo Police Department the
temporary use of Victoria Avenue between West D Street and Greenwood Street, as further
identified in the attached aerial map, for the period of August 7, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
and with respect to conducting the 2018 Neighborhood Safety Night event.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and all acts
consistent with the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and procedures described
herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

SUMMARY:
This resolution authorizes the temporary use of the public right-of-way on Victoria Avenue by the
City of Pueblo Police Department.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Resolution approved.
BACKGROUND:
The City of Pueblo Police Department request the temporary use of Victoria Avenue between
West D Street and Greenwood Street on August 7, 2018, from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm to host their
2018 Neighborhood Safety Night event.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
None
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
The Revocable Permit Review Committee recommends approval.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
None
ALTERNATIVES:
Denying the Resolution will possibly result in the event being cancelled and held at a different
location.
RECOMMENDATION
:
Approval of the Resolution.
