HomeMy WebLinkAbout13962 RESOLUTION NO. 13962 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY USE OF THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY ON GOODNIGHT AVENUE WITHIN THE CITY PARK FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING SUMMERFEST 2018 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. The City of Pueblo authorizes for the use and benefit of the Parks and Recreation Department the temporary use of Goodnight Avenue within City Park, as further identified in the attached aerial map, for the period of June 2, 2018 from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm and with respect to conducting the Summerfest 2018 event. SECTION 2. The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and procedures described herein. SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval. PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: None. BACKGROUND: The City of Pueblo Parks and Recreation Department request the temporary use of Goodnight Avenue within City Park on June 2, 2018, from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm to host their Summerfest 2018 event. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: None BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: The Revocable Permit Review Committee recommends approval. STAKEHOLDER PROCESS: None ALTERNATIVES: Denying the Resolution will possibly result in the event being cancelled and held at a different location. RECOMMENDATION : Approval of the Resolution.
