A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE
HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1:
The following individuals are hereby reappointed to the Historic Preservation Commission
to complete four-year terms expiring January 1, 2022.
Karen Knight
Maria Tucker
SECTION 2:
The following individual is hereby appointed to the Historic Preservation Commission to
complete a four-year term expiring January 1, 2021.
Jason Falsetto
SECTION 3:
The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and all acts
consistent with the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and procedures described
herein.
SECTION 4:
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION
COMMISSION
SUMMARY:
This Resolution appoints individuals to the Historic Preservation Commission to serve four-year
terms expiring January 1, 2022 and appoints one individual to complete a four-year term expiring
January 1, 2021.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Appointments to the Historic Preservation Commission are made on an annual basis selecting
st
individuals to serve terms expiring on January 1 of each year.
BACKGROUND:
Due to the term expiration of members Karen Knight, Maria Tucker, and resignation of Michael
Klaus there are three appointments available to serve four-year terms expiring January 1, 2022.
Incumbents Karen Knight and Maria Tucker wish to be reappointed.
Due to the resignation of Kerry Bennett there is one appointment available to complete a four-
year term expiring January 1, 2021.
Following advertisements published in the Pueblo Chieftain, an announcement on the City Clerk’s
webpage, one new application was received from Jason Falsetto.
One vacancy still exists for this board.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
None.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
None.
ALTERNATIVES:
City Council could remove the Resolution from the Agenda, request that the recruitment process
be extended in order to receive additional applications for consideration.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Resolution.
