Dear Mr.Zwick:
For the past 28 years, Colorado Preservation Inc. has annually recognized those who have demonstrated
leadership and commitment to the preservation of Colorado's remarkable cultural resources. In 2015
we began honoring progress made by sites named one of Colorado's Most Endangered. It is with great
honor that we notify you that Goodnight Barn has been selected as a recipient of Colorado Preservation
Inc.'s 2018 Endangered Places Progress Award.
The City's passion and commitment to rehabilitating the Goodnight Barn is an inspiration to those who
care about Colorado's remarkable history. Your efforts exemplify the ideals of Historic Preservation and
Preservation Leadership and we look forward to celebrating the tremendous progress you've made in
protecting this important place.
The 28th Annual Dana Crawford and State Honor Awards will be held Wednesday,May 9,2018 at
Seawell Ballroom in Denver. In addition to the EPP Progress Award,we will be recognizing four projects
with State Honor Awards, one project with our Preservation Edge Award and will be presenting the
Dana Crawford Award to Rebecca Goodwin for her dedication to historic preservation. Two
complimentary tickets will be given for attendees representing the barn and sponsorships are available
for purchasing additional tickets and tables. We hope that you and others from the City will join us for
this very special evening.
We have been working with Laurel Campbell to schedule filming of a short segment on the progress
made to the building and the many partners working to see it saved. Please let me know if you have any
questions and again congratulations!
